The AirPods Pro with ANC was introduced by Apple earlier this year. For improved noise insulation, the firm moved to an in-ear design. Now, a leak has surfaced online for the second-gen AirPods Pro and it seems like Apple may be preparing to sell them in two sizes.

If you have not kept up, it is speculated that Apple will update the style of the AirPods for the next version. The Cupertino big, much like the Google Pixel Buds or Samsung Galaxy Buds, could remove the elongated stem and add a more streamlined shape. This suggests that there may be a more rounded form for AirPods Pro 2, and this is where today's leak comes in.

Earlier this week, Mr-White, who is said to be a trustworthy Apple tipster, tweeted out a few photos of the supposed internal AirPods Pro 2 hardware. The photos you see below show off the earbuds' upgraded system-in-a-package enclosure. The first picture displays the next-gen AirPods hardware next to the current-gen AirPods hardware (blue enclosure) (silver). You will see the two different sizes will come with the next-gen hardware cables.

In my books, this could mean two things. First, to encourage customers to select the size that fits their ears, Apple could launch AirPods Pro 2 in two different sizes. Second, which appears more likely to me, is that the Cupertino giant will upgrade the in-ear architecture of both its regular and Pro models (as has been rumored for quite some time now). It could then come in two sizes to appeal to two distinct markets.

The tipster also confirms that AirPods Pro 2 will come fitted with the H1 chip from Apple. Among other stuff, it supports Bluetooth 5.0, low-latency, and hands-free 'Hello Siri.' This is a W1 chip update found aboard the initial AirPods. So, are you excited about next year's arrival of two new AirPods?
