After a not-so-subtle tease from Sony on Wednesday, Kratos, the protagonist of God of War, is now available at Fortnite as a purchasable costume. While Kratos is a Sony character, you will be able to purchase the Kratos skin on any platform where Fortnite can be played, and players will be able to see Kratos in-game on all platforms, not limited to PS4 or PS5 platforms.
We should remember that there is one PlayStation-exclusive thing about Kratos, but you can unlock the Armored Kratos Style if you play a match like Kratos on PlayStation 5:
You get the Kratos skin, glider, Mimir back bling, and the Leviathan Axe pickaxe for 2,200 V-Bucks, Fortnite's in-game currency (which comes with an emote). The skin and back bling can also be bought for 1,500 V-Bucks as a package.
To further hype up Kratos' debut, Sony and Epic Games put together a brief trailer:
“The best hunters across all realities,” you say? We might know a guy. 🪓

The newest season of Fortnite just began on Wednesday, and it features hunters from various realities as collectible skins that you can win from the seasonal war pass of the game (including the Mandalorian and his constant companion Grogu, aka Baby Yoda). Kratos is an appropriate addition to the lineup, but he may not be the only crossover video game we see this season, reports point to Microsoft's Master Chief symbol likely even entering the game.
