The business has allegedly teased on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo, the Oppo Reno 5 series may launch on December 10. It is predicted that the series will include the Oppo Reno 5, Oppo Reno 5 Pro, and Oppo Reno 5 Pro Plus. However the names of the phones have not been publicly confirmed by the company. In addition, a tipster posted a picture of the front of the three rumoured phones, while another tipster shared another picture of the Oppo Reno 5 back plate, showing the configuration of a quad rear camera.
The company states that the Oppo "Star Diamond Rejuvenation series" will debut on December 10 on the Weibo post posted by Oppo. Although the Reno 5 series is not expressly stated, the rumour mill indicates that the suspected smartphones may be revealed by Oppo on that day. There is also a short clip with the post that also does not clarify whether the business applies to the Oppo Reno 5 series.
Digital Chat Station (translated) posted a picture of the three rumoured Oppo Reno 5 phones with their front panels on Weibo. There are angled screens on two of the phones, while the third has a flat panel. The Pro and Pro Plus versions will potentially come with a curved monitor, while a flat display will come with the vanilla Oppo Reno 5. All three phones have a selfie camera hole-punch cutout, which is situated on the top-left side of the screen. It seems like the Oppo Reno 5 also has a relatively thicker chin.
Another tipster with the username Sanyi Life (translated), along with a few specifications, posted a picture of the back of Oppo Reno 5 on Weibo. With a quad rear camera system with three sensors arranged vertically, the handset can be seen. Oppo branding as well as 'Reno Light' branding on the back panel are features of the handset. The tipster adds that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G processor can power the phone and allow a maximum of 65W rapid charging.
Price of the Oppo Reno 5 series (expected)
