Opera GX Browser Gets Chroma RGB Dynamic Razer Lighting Effects

There's some positive news if you're an Opera GX browser regular with a shiny Razer RGB keyboard. Both firms have partnered together to offer official support within the browser itself for Razer Chroma RGB lighting effects. All Chroma-enabled devices can dynamically adapt to your browsing behaviour with this update.

For eg, your Razer accessories will respond to the action and light up accordingly if you allow the function and want to open a new tab. Team Opera GX points out that these lighting effects would not be constantly reflected. It refers instead to actions that take place in the browser and returns to its previous state. In addition, when you use the browser in fullscreen mode, the lights will immediately fade.

Although Razer Chroma RGB integration was initially enabled by the browser, enabling Razer gear to complement the browser colours, the upgrade supercharges the experience with dynamic lighting effects. In reality, with additional effects, you can select one of the preset animation themes or modify it.

To take it to the next level, the company says that if you get a message from social media sites like Discord, Twitch, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, WhatsApp and Instagram, you can also set up a GIF that appears on your Razer keyboard. The keyboard will animate the GIF by lighting effects until activated.

Opera GX continues to grow, with over 5 million monthly active users, since it was launched at the E3 gaming expo in June last year. You can download it from the connection here for Windows and macOS if you are interested in checking out the browser.
