Playstion Plus announced some free games for January: Greedfall, shadow of the Tome Rider & Maneater - Tech Backbone
With an amazing range of free games- Maneater, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Greedfall, PlayStation Plus subscribers will kick off 2021. Although users of PlayStation 5 can get their hands on all three titles, users of PlayStation 4 get free access to only the last two. Since Sony released the next-gen PS5 in November, specifically for the new console, it has been looking to deliver a free game. It seems to have got the ball rolling with the Maneater. In order to show off the hardware prowess of the console, including ray-tracing support and 4K resolution at 60 fps, the PlayStation 5-version of the game was specially revised. Through backwards compatibility, PS5 players can also access the other two games.
The business revealed in a blog post that all three games would be available for free beginning Tuesday, January 5, until February 1. Until Monday, January 4, all PS5 and PS4 players will still have access to last month's free game lineup, Just Cause 4, Rocket Arena, and Worms Rumble. Indie launch title Bugsnax will also be available for a final round of downloads until January 4 as an extra incentive for PS5 users. Maneater,
If you saw the iconic Steven Spielberg Jaws, you're not going to have a lot of trouble knowing what Maneater is all about. You start out as a baby shark (do-do-do-do-do-do) and by chomping down humans and other marine monsters, the aim is to become an apex predator. The open-world RPG, or SharkPG, is a lot of fun, really. It requires a remarkably complex system of levelling up, and watching your wee little fish transform into a super-powered beast is a certain delight. In order to achieve the perfect kill, it does not take too many powers, but the game provides ample options for players to find their own style of play at their own speed.
Shadow of the Raider of the Tomb
Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the third chapter in the Lara Croft franchise reboot series, continues Lara's journey from the Rise of the Tomb Raider in 2015 as the adventurer races to escape a Mayan apocalypse through the wild jungles of South America. While the action-RPG might not be as fantastic as the series' first two titles, it still provides some unforgettable moments and tense experiences, making it a good-enough game to spend a few hours with, especially because it's free.

Greedfall
Greedfall, created by the French studio Spiders, allows players to take a deep dive into the realm of old-school RPG mechanics as they visit a mediaeval island and fight off attackers and supernatural challenges while enjoying a plot that is unexpectedly entertaining. Greedfall, a sleeper success, is likely to keep gamers occupied for hours.
