A First Look at the Upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is here

Launching next year the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be followed by a new set of TWS earbuds called the Galaxy Buds Pro. We have been hearing rumours and have seen key requirements via certification listings for these Buds leak. And today, we were given a close peek at the Galaxy Buds Pro by trustworthy tipster Evan Blass (better referred to as @evleaks).

A sequel to the Galaxy Buds+ from earlier this year and not the new bean-shaped Buds Live, will be the Galaxy Buds Pro. However in terms of architecture and finish, Samsung will take inspiration from the latter. In a square charging shell, these TWS earbuds will be stored (exactly the same as Buds Live). It carries on top of the 'Tone by AKG' branding. As the Buds Live, the earbuds have a glossy finished look but have silicone tips for a better fit.

The Galaxy Buds Pro has also leaked in such an enticing violet colorway, even though you may have already heard. Not many internal details have surfaced online for the TWS earbuds. But we do know that a much larger 500mAh battery would be used, twice that of the Buds++ (270mAh).

With Successful Noise Cancellation (ANC) assistance, the Galaxy Buds Pro will arrive. It will be Samsung's second TWS earbud using this technology. As compared to the bean-shaped Buds Live, the silicone tips can have greater isolation.

These earbuds will reside alongside the Buds+ and Buds Live according to evleaks. It will not be replaced either and will launch in under six months as yet another Samsung luxury TWS product. The rumour mill says that along with the Galaxy Buds Pro, the Galaxy S21 series with S Pen support will launch in January. We recommend you, though, take these rumours with a grain of salt. Samsung is most likely to adhere to the normal launch schedule for February.
