What You Should to Know
- This morning, Google added a slew of new animals to its AR stable.
- The giraffe, milk cow, zebra, and more are included in these.
- Ancient and legendary animals, including Unicorns and Dinosaurs, were added earlier by Google.
As you've already found, when searching up species, Google improved its search interface to include 3D models of a variety of creatures. If you had a compatible screen, you could either see them in your browser or search app, or project them into your living room to see them in full size.
The organisation regularly supplements its range of new species, and 50 more animals and breeds are now included. Google today revealed the move, featuring many new species, including the breed of giraffe, kitten, zebra, milk cow, pig, and chow chow dog.
Hip(po), hip(po), hooray! 🦛 There are 50 new AR animals to discover on Search. Search for your favorite animal on your Google mobile app, tap "View in 3D" to see them in your space and don’t forget to share your best creations with #Google3D. pic.twitter.com/u80Mn7wi1z

Google has featured exciting and esoteric creatures from nature and folklore in previous months. It collaborated with Universal to display the Jurassic Park fossils, and certain seasonally relevant species, such as the Easter Bunny, were also seen.
