Hot Wheels provides the true Tesla experience by postponing their Cybertruck concept

If you've been anxiously waiting for your radio-controlled cyber-truck, you're going to have to wait a bit longer: according to Bloomberg, Mattel had to delay it until May 2021.
The RC cars were expected to ship this month, revealed in February, but were postponed due to unforeseen production problems." Mattel seems to be undergoing "manufacturing hell," but the company did not release information on the delay.
These toys are scaled-down versions of the true Cybertruck, which come in two models: a $20 model scale of 1:64 and a $400 model scale of 1:10. Following pre-orders, all models went out of stock.
Unveiled in November 2019, Tesla's Cybertruck is a sleek, electrical take on a pickup truck. The angular, stainless steel truck has armoured glass windows, but during a public examination, they smashed, embarrassingly. Nevertheless, CEO Elon Musk has said it is the "truck you want in the apocalypse." In late 2021, the $69,900 Cybertruck tri-motor is scheduled to hit the track, with the $39,900 rear-wheel drive version following in 2022.
The $400 toy version of the truck is meant to be off-road and hobbyist-grade. And while it does not have the real thing's armoured glass panels, it does come with a sticker that, just as in the demo, makes the window look smashed.
Although it may disappoint any hardcore Tesla fans who booked the car, this is yet another way the concept imitates reality. For its delays, Tesla is notorious. A year after the Model X was promised, the cheapest Model 3 went over its launch timeframe, and the arrival of the Roadster was expected to be this year but it wasn't.
So Hot Wheels is just trying to give you the feeling of owning one of the real Tesla vehicles, just at a cost of 1:100 scale, in a way.
