Amazfit GTR 2 Goes Up in India for pre-order price starts at Rs. 12,9999

The Xiaomi-backed Huami announced earlier this week that it would announce three new smartwatches in India before the end of 2020. Next, we got the Amazfit GTR 2, which was expected to arrive on the 17th of December. Yet it seems that Huami has not been able to hold the enthusiasm under control and has introduced the Amazfit GTR 2 today in India. It is now available on Flipkart for pre-order.
Amazfit GTR 2: Specifications
With a 454 x 454-pixel resolution and peak brightness of up to 450 nits, this smartwatch features a circular 1.39-inch AMOLED screen. On the right side, it has two digital keys. Sports (aluminum alloy body) and Classic (stainless steel body) Version are two versions of the Amazfit GTR 2. The latter is significantly heavier and measures in at 39 grammes, while the former weights 31.5 grammes.
Both versions have a proprietary sensor from BioTracker 2, which incorporates sensors from PPG and SpO2. This makes the watch capable of not only measuring your pulse rhythm and sleep, but also monitoring the levels of oxygen in your blood. The demand among users is common particularly with the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Other fitness features include monitoring of movement, levels of tension, and 12 forms of sports. Outdoor Running, Biking, Indoor Cycling, Open Water Swimming, Elliptical, Pool Swimming, Climbing, Mountain Running, Treadmill, Skiing, Free Training, and Outdoor Cycling. The Amazfit GRR 2 will track the following.
The smartwatch is water-resistant to 5ATM/50 metres and connects via the Zepp app over Bluetooth 5.0.0. to your Android or iOS device. For precise activity monitoring (less the need to hold a smartphone) and 3 GB capacity for offline, standalone music streaming on Amazfit GTR 2, there is built-in GPS.
There is also a 471mAh battery on board and the firm promises to give a battery life of up to 14 days. In simple watch mode, the watch will last up to 38 days, which is awesome.
Price and Availability
For the Sports Version, the Amazfit GTR 2 is priced at Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 13,499 for the Classic Edition in India. From today (11 December) until 17 December, when it goes on sale via Flipkart, this smartwatch will be available for pre-order. With your purchase during the pre-order time, you will get an extra replaceable strap.
The company has also teased the forthcoming launch of the Amazfit GTS 2 on Amazon India, in addition to the launch of the Amazfit GTR 2. There have also been reports of the GTS 2 mini making its India debut for some time. For further updates, stay tuned.
