Instagram is testing out Live Spaces, the newest update from the organisation that enables users to go live with up to three other people. This extends the reach of the new Instagram Live feature, the length of which has recently been extended to 4 hours.
An Instagram Live session will involve a total of four members, one host and three guests, with the Live Rooms feature. The total number of users in live sessions was two, one host and one single visitor, before this move. As a result, in order to introduce new guests to the conversation, the moderator had to terminate the session with the current guest.
Using Live Rooms on Instagram
It is very easy to get started with Instagram Live Rooms. You will have to create an Instagram Live session to begin with. You can do this from the 'Live' tab, which can be reached from the '+' button on Build. Alternatively, you can easily swipe to the left to enter the Live tab from the home screen.
If you have opened the Live tab, if necessary, add a title to the stream and tap on the Live button at the bottom of the page. You can tap on the Rooms icon to invite other participants after beginning the live session. You may either concurrently introduce all three guests or opt to add other guests later, according to Instagram.
Live Rooms for Instagram are now available in India and Indonesia. If all goes according to the schedule, we should expect in the near future the organisation to extend this role to more territories.
