For a while now, Redmi Note 9T has been subject to many reports, and a recent certification from the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) indicates that it may be a rebranded edition of Redmi Note 9 5G that was introduced last week in China.Redmi Note 9 4G, Redmi Note 9 G, and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G versions were recently launched in China by Xiaomi, and Redmi Note 9 5G is planned to launch in other markets such as Redmi Note 9T. NBTC certification indicates that Redmi Note 9T could launch in the future in Thailand.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav tweeted that on Thailand's NBTC certification platform, Redmi Note 9T was listed, indicating a potential launch in the area. Model number M2007J22G is specified for the handset. The recently released Redmi Note 9 5G in China has the model number M2007J22C, and it is likely that its global version will bear the model number M2007J22G.Therefore this leads to rumours that Redmi Note 9 5G will be released as Redmi Note 9T on global markets. Yadav further suggests that sometime this month the latter will be unveiled globally.
Past sources have also indicated that it is planned that Redmi Note 9T will also be published in India. It has recently been spotted on the certification platform of the Quality and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM), hinting at a launch in many Asian markets. The IMEI number for Redmi Note 9T was also officially registered with C-DOT CEIR IMEI Authentication, meaning that, along with other regions, the telephone would reach the Indian market.
The Redmi Note 9 4G version that was released in China is also confirmed to be launched in India, in addition to the Redmi Note 9 G China edition. For the Indian market, it is expected to be rebranded as Redmi 9 Strength.
